Hello, we are Cory and Abby! We want to thank you for taking the time to read our story and learn more about us. Our story began online—we were both in transitions of life that kept us busy.

Abby had just graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and started her dream job, and Cory was working with a great company on the night shift. Funny enough, after connecting online, we learned that we lived close to each other and had a lot of mutual connections!

Cory and I met when we least expected it, and he quickly became my best friend, confidant, and biggest cheerleader. In the first few weeks of knowing me, he encouraged me as I took my state board exam, watched me walk to receive my diploma, and accepted my first nursing opportunity, all while he worked 40-plus hour weeks on the night shift. That is Cory, though, gentle, selfless, and kind—always bringing out the best in others.

He works hard but always comes home ready to hear about my day. He is on a charity committee and often attends benefits or charities for co-workers...

We live in a cozy, 1700 sq foot farmhouse in the country! Cory grew up on a 300-acre farm, and Abby lived in the country most of her life, so we always knew we wanted to find land to raise our family on. Our house has undergone renovations and additions over the years and is warm and inviting!

We strive to make our home the place where people want to gather and relax. Our favorite place is on one of the two porches, soaking in all the sunshine. The house has eight acres of land, most of it wooded—plenty of room to explore and play! There is a large kitchen that will be used...

Some of our favorite traditions are holidays, and events spent with our family and friends. Every summer, we have two or three fish fries which we invite the neighbors to, and everyone brings a dish to share.
